Academy award winning screenwriter Janet Roach will be hosting her popular Sundays @ the movies series again at the Lyme Library. This series will be focused on stunning international and American films. Not to be missed this series is a visual gift to the community

Today’s film is: House of Sand and Fog  (2002 United States). Directed by Vadim Perelman. Recently becoming homeless due to a misunderstanding, Kathy Nicolo (played by Jennifer Connely) becomes locked in a life and death battle for repossession of her former home. House of Sand and Fog is much more than just a story of real estate gone wrong but confronts racist and xenophobic views in modern culture.
