For internationally-known interior designer Nora Murphy a country home isn’t so much a place as it is a state of mind. The true essence of which is both well lived in and beautifully decorated a county house is warm and welcoming,down to earth and elegant all at once. Ms. Murphy’s shop in Chester “The Little Shop” features many of the elements that she decorates homes with in her role of interior designer. Ms. Murphy is also an author and in tonight’s presentation she will be highlighting some of the homes and designs that appear in her latest book “Country House Living: Celebrating the Beauty of Life at Home”. Filled with practical ways to celebrate American country style, her latest book is beautifully designed with a ribbon bookmark, and written in the author’s warm and effusive voice, this book will inspire readers to create a country house lifestyle wherever they live.
