Summer Reading Program Kickoff – Dig into Reading – Tuesday, July 2 at 7:00

Due to the late ending of the school year, this year’s summer reading program will begin on July 2.  Kristen Thornton will lead four programs over the summer on Tuesday evenings that will inspire the children to read and learn more.  All programs are at 7 P.M.  Dates are:  July 2, July 16, July 30, and August 13.  Each session is limited to 12 children.   Please call or email programreg@lymepl.org to register.  Summer reading is not only fun, it is an essential part of every child’s educational success

AFTERSCHOOL PROGRAMS (GRADES K-5)

Matisse Collage – Wednesday, May 8 at 3:15

Children in grades K-5 will join Kristen Thornton to hear the story Colorful Dreamer: the Story of Artist Henri Matisse by Marjorie Blain Parker.  They will then make their own collages in the style of Matisse.  This program is limited to 12 children.  Please call to register or email programreg@lymepl.org.

3-D Watercolor Squids – Thursday, June 5 at 3:15

Children in grades K-5 will join Kristen Thornton to hear the story I am the Biggest Thing in the Ocean by Kevin Sherry.  They will then make their own 3-D watercolor squids. This program is limited to 12 children.  Please call to register or email programreg@lymepl.org.
